Our team has helped numerous local and international clients manage a wide range of Singapore work passes and long-term visas. Here’s what we handle:
Salary Threshold: Varies by age and industry. As of January 1, 2025, the minimum monthly salary for new applicants is SGD 5,600 in non-financial services sectors and SGD 6,200 in the financial services sector. Older applicants are typically required to meet higher salary thresholds.
Application Requirements: Based on salary standards and work experience.
Pass Validity: Usually 1 to 2 years and renewable.
Benefits: Eligible individuals can apply for Singapore Permanent Residency (PR). Those earning over SGD 6,000 can apply to bring their spouse and children to Singapore, and those earning over SGD 12,000 can apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) for their parents.
Salary Threshold: For overseas applicants, the most recent fixed monthly salary must be at least SGD 22,500, earned within the six months prior to the application. For current Employment Pass (EP) holders, the fixed monthly salary must also be at least SGD 22,500.
Application Requirements: Based on the monthly salary standard.
Pass Validity: 3 years, non-renewable upon expiry. Can be converted to an EP or used to apply for Permanent Residency (PR).
Benefits:
① You can bring your family to Singapore; job changes are allowed without reapplying for a new EP, but you can only work for one company at a time. After leaving a job, you get a 6-month stay period (to find a new job).
② PR application approval rate is nearly 100%!
Salary Threshold: Primarily based on the evaluation of the startup project; there is no strict personal salary requirement, but applicants must demonstrate sufficient funds to support living in Singapore.
Application Requirements: Must have founded or intend to found an innovative, high-growth potential business that meets at least one innovation criterion (innovation, scalability, job creation, investment appeal). The applicant must be a founder holding at least 30% equity, the company must be less than 6 months old, and not in excluded industries. A detailed business plan must be submitted.
Pass Validity: Initially valid for 1 year. Renewable for 2 years based on business progress and meeting specific criteria. Upon expiry, applicants must transition to another pass type or apply for Permanent Residency (PR), depending on their circumstances.
Benefits:
① Allows you to run an innovative business in Singapore. If eligible, you may apply for Dependant’s Passes (DP) for your spouse and unmarried children under 21. With higher qualifications, you may also apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) for your parents.
② Successful entrepreneurs meeting certain criteria can apply for Singapore Permanent Residency (PR).
Salary Threshold: The minimum fixed monthly salary requirement is currently SGD 3,150 and increases with the applicant’s age and experience. In the financial services sector, the threshold is higher, starting from SGD 3,650, and also increases with age.
Application Requirements: Based on salary standards and work experience. Employers are subject to quota limits: service sector companies can hire up to 10% SP pass holders, manufacturing up to 20%, and other sectors up to 18%.
Pass Validity: 2 years, renewable upon expiry.
Benefits: With a salary of SGD 6,000 or more, applicants can apply for Dependant Passes for their spouse and children under 21 years old.
Dependant Pass (DP) Salary Threshold: The main applicant (EP or S Pass holder) must meet a certain monthly salary. For S Pass holders, the current minimum is SGD 6,000. There is no fixed minimum for EP holders, but higher salaries generally increase approval chances.
Application Requirements: The main applicant must hold a valid EP or S Pass; dependants must be a legally married spouse or unmarried children under 21.
Pass Validity: Matches the validity period of the main applicant’s work pass.
Benefits:
① Legal residence in Singapore. The spouse may apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) to work (easier for EP holder’s spouse).
② Children can attend school in Singapore.
Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) Salary Threshold: The main applicant must meet a certain monthly salary, depending on the type of pass and relationship with the family member. EP/PEP holders may apply for their parents, in-laws, common-law spouse, or unmarried disabled children over 21. Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) may apply for certain relatives under different criteria.
Application Requirements: The main applicant must be a valid EP, S Pass, PEP holder, or SC/PR; eligible dependants include parents, in-laws, common-law spouses, and unmarried disabled children over 21 (varies by applicant’s status).
Pass Validity: Ranges from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the main applicant’s pass type and family situation. Some passes are renewable.
